Who is collecting your details?

Ring2Revenue Technologies Inc. runs the Cosmic Commodities playtest. Contact Wes at wes@ring2revenue.ca with questions, corrections, access or deletion requests.

What we collect and why

We ask for your first name, email address and, optionally, last name so we can contact you about your game experience and request feedback. We also store the wording and date of your consent. This consent does not sign you up for marketing emails.

Where your information goes

Your registration is stored in a private database provided through our website hosting service (OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare). It is accessible to the site owner and hosting providers as needed to operate the service; other players cannot view it. Hosting providers may process data outside Canada and maintain technical service logs.

We use an essential browser cookie to remember that you registered, for up to 180 days. It contains a random receipt, not your name or email. We have not added advertising or analytics trackers. Solo and shared-device saves remain in this browser. Online room saves and company-seat assignments are stored on our server. People who join the same room can see company names and game progress, but cannot see registration names or email addresses. Pending auction bids are kept private until settlement.

Your choice

Feedback contact consent is required to join this playtest. You can withdraw at any time using the button below from the browser where you registered, or by emailing wes@ring2revenue.ca. Withdrawal stops future feedback contact. The button also deletes the name and email for this registration; an anonymous record of consent and withdrawal remains.

If you registered more than once or no longer have the registration cookie, email us to remove all registrations for your email address. We retain contact details while conducting the playtest and its feedback follow-up, unless you withdraw or ask for deletion sooner.

Your saved games

Withdrawing does not delete saved games. Export any saves you want to keep using the game’s save controls before clearing your browser data. Online rooms save automatically and can be reopened using their invite links in the browser where you joined. The registration cookie identifies your company seat; clearing it can prevent you from reclaiming that seat. Withdrawing consent blocks access to online rooms. Shared game records remain for the other players; contact Wes to request removal of room data.
